题型说明：本题关联考研英语的英译汉题型，选材为社会文化、体育、科技、城市类说明文或议论文，难度设置低于考研英语二。

题目要求： Read carefully the following article, and then write your response in NO less THAN 200 WORDS, in which you should:
1. summarize the main message of the article “XXXXX” in 1-2 paragraphs, and then
2. make specific suggestions as to how to raise people’s awareness of environmental protection by using the plastic bag ban as an example.

结构组成：
- Summary: 出题依托课文 (Unit5-8) 以降低难度，去掉 Unit5-Reading2 以及 Unit7-Reading1。

本质：相当于一篇材料作文。
出题调整：出题时适当的删减字数。
设置目的：考虑后几个单元涉及到部分相关的学术英语写作技巧，故学有所用。(形式请参考下文)

题目主旨是讨论如何提高人们的环保意识。首先应当总结概括材料中的内容，再给出自己的观点。文章结构可安排如下：

第一段：简要概括材料内容。材料的要点包括塑料袋的三种危害：
- ① 不可降解，危害环境 (harm of plastic in our environment)；
- ② 危害野生动物的健康 (problem for the health of wildlife)；
- ③ 生产塑料袋要消耗燃料 (burden on fossil fuel)。
第二段：提出自己的看法，禁止使用塑料袋很有必要，同时引出问题，如何提高人们的环保意识。
第三段：给出具体的建议：首先，加强宣传；其次，加强学校教育。
第四段：总结全文，重申观点——我们应该共同努力，保护环境。
